Friend Like You

I promised another card using Brusho, so here it is!

The burst of color is so much fun! It reminds me of when I used to tie dye scarves with my grandma. We would put large salt crystals on the silk, and when you added the dye, the salt would soak up the color and create amazing designs. This works in a similar way, but spreads when added with water.

The stamp is from the Love What You Do stamp set, which is still available in the Share What You Love Suite until the end of May.

The word cut out is from the Celebrate You Thinlets:

For the words, I used Blueberry Bushel from the new In Color collection. Here is a picture of the new and returning In Colors:

I especially like the Grapefruit Grove, which you can buy in the Share What You Love Suite until the end of May. You can also order all the new In Colors in a bundle as well. Stampin' Up also did a color revamp and added a few new colors and returned some other colors. I am very happy they brought back Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss! Here are the updated color collections:

Lots of potential in these new and returning colors! I am looking forward to showing you what I have come up with so far. Keep an eye out for my next post!
As always, let me know if you want to purchase any products, and happy stamping!

  1. This card is cool, too. How did you get the "you" on the stamp to not show up?

  2. I made sure to not get ink on that word. Can be tricky depending on the stamp!
